Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

This is honestly one of the absolute best places to eat in Medina! Iβve had it DoorDashed and itβs amazing then, and Iβve come in to eat and itβs incredible every time. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, especially for the atmosphere. It is gorgeous inside, and they have an adorable outdoor seating space. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful! This place is truly a gem and I will keep coming back and ordering! Highly highly recommend!

Great experience! So thankful to have some gluten free options in Asian cuisine. The gluten free chicken was a little dry but it was really crispy, tasted great and was a generous portion. The gluten free pot stickers were delicious! Everything was well seasoned, nothing was bland or boring. Even the side of sweet potato noddles was well seasoned. Overall, 5 out of 5 experience, we will be back.

Yummy ramen! Helpful staff told us what is good and popular, you can order off the menu or make your own bowl. The chicken for the ramen is served on a separate dish which makes it stay extremely crunchy and it was hot! We will come back and try a different bowl or make our own. You can also get boba here. Good to dine in casual or take out.

Iβve been to Yokai a couple of times now, and both times I built my own Donburi bowl and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful, and I really appreciate the wide variety of options to choose from. As a vegetarian, I found it super easy and comfortable to decide what I wanted, which isnβt always the case at other places. The staff was very professional, and the restaurant itself is extremely clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Yokai to anyone looking for a fresh and tasty meal in Medina!
